We believe passionately that freshly cooked, high quality ingredients are critical to the success of the The Bean Tree. You will taste the difference!

All our stock and sauces are made on site. This is a very labour intensive activity and not done by many restaurants today.

Our beef fillet is 100% Scottish and has received great acclaim from our customers. Lamb and venison are sourced from the most reputable suppliers.

Our fish and shellfish is purchased from Brixham and Plymouth quay sides, (arguably amongst the finest fish markets in the UK) and delivered to us overnight by our Royal warranted supplier.

Our vegetables and fruit are sourced directly from New Covent Garden market and delivered daily as required.

Our ice cream and sorbets are made freshly on site. We use an advanced preparation system (Pacojet) which allows reduced sugar recipes and guarantees exceptional texture and flavour.

Naturally, we make all our own bread with locally milled organic flours from Redbournbury mill.

Our chocolates and petit fours are also made by us and are simply irreseitible!
